Handcrafted silver jewellery reflects the delicacy & beauty in nature. A rare chance to meet the maker. Commissions taken. NEW FOR 2010 - enamelwork.

As a keen gardener I find that flowers and leaves form a large part of my inspiration, sometimes taking several years to develop into the finished piece while waiting for a tool or technique to get it just right. I get excited about new tools and methods of working and  a recent course at West Dean College has opened up some stimulating possibilities.

We wear jewellery to make us feel special:  I like to design jewellery that makes me feel feminine, resulting in delicate yet hardwearing pieces. I enjoy experimenting so most of my pieces are one-off or limited editions, each design inspired by a moment in time. I work with sterling silver, changing the surface texture and using semi precious stones to highlight the effects.

My introduction to enamels is giving me the chance to experiment with colours and is leading to an exciting new range.

I look forward to South East Open Studios: the majority of my work is sold through shops and galleries so it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet people and share some of the knowledge I have accumulated over the years. It’s great to see previous customers who come to view new ranges and being in a studio with 2 other artists is like a special holiday: Inspiration flows and I find I can’t work fast enough!
