How to Join - Associate Membership

 

Benefits: An SEOS webpage online for one year with a link to your own website. Your page will be found by search engines such as Google and in name and category searches on the SEOS website. Receive regular SEOS newsletters, bulletins and emails. Members from the preceding year can replace their image

It is particularly useful if you do not wish to take part in the event but wish to have or maintain your links with SEOS. As an Associate Member, you will not have an entry in the printed Guide and your web page will indicate that you are not taking part in the 2012 event.

Requirements: Members from the preceding year and new members can apply.

How to apply: Print and complete the Associate Membership application form available on the downloads page and send with your cheque to: SEOS Website Editor, Bramlings, Malthouse Lane, Peasmarsh, Rye, East Sussex TN31 6TA.

Cost: With an existing webpage (member from preceding year applying before 1st March) £25 for one year. This includes one new image if required.  Without an existing webpage (new or returning member and all applications from 1st March) £40 for one year. 

Application deadline: With existing web page, Wednesday 29th February 2012. Please note: this in NOT the deadline for full membership, see Individual or Group Membership pages.

Extra images: More images and text may be added to your webpage at extra cost, see ‘Extend your web page’ available on the Downloads page.  Please note: if your existing web page already has extra images and/or text, you will need to re-apply to keep this feature.

Not sure about becoming an Associate Member?

  • The SEOS website has a constant flow of visitors throughout the year, over 100 per day before and during the event.  Some will be gallery owners, curators and exhibition organisers.
  • In a Google name search, your SEOS web page will appear high on the list.
  • The link on your SEOS web page will be directing visitors to your website. 
  • If you do not have a website, your SEOS web page is an inexpensive and effective alternative.  It has it’s own unique web address www.seos-art.org/artists/yourname.
