Commercial partnerships where two or more individuals operate and produce artefacts or products for sale under one brand name may join as a partnership on a single individual membership with advertising, or as separate individuals. The partnership must be genuine, i.e. operating as a commercial business with a trading name and from the same venue for at least six months. Artists or craft-workers sharing the same location but working as separate individuals are not considered to be a partnership.
Artist and maker collaborations where there is a single co-created artefact/practice are advised to contact us for further information.
To maintain fairness, commercial partnerships that elect for a single entry are asked to pay a similar fee to individual members sharing a studio. This can be done by joining as an individual and taking an advertisement in the printed guide as set out in the table below. We will place your advertisement as near as possible to your guide entry.
Benefits:
Dates: The next event takes place 1st – 17th June 2012
Selection procedure: None (self selection).
Your studio: This should be an open studio. Tools, equipment etc must be available to show the public how your work is produced. Consider giving demonstrations and indicate demonstration days on your application.
Commitment: You must agree to open your studio on the days you have specified and are published in the guide and on the website. If there are open days when you cannot be present, they must be indicated when you apply.
