Experiments in many directions

Kentish Express

An artist who says she likes to experiment ‘in many directions’ will be displaying her latest work from tomorrow (Friday) at her Ashford home.

French-born Dominique Morgan, of Little Sandyhurst House, Sandyhurst Lane, will be showing new paintings which will include landscapes and still life. They will be on exhibit until Sunday June 25.

Dominique, who also paints figurative and semi-abstract watercolours and pastels, says: ‘I like to experiment in many directions, hence the variety of subjects and styles. I am fascinated by the interplay of colour and texture in compositions.’

She adds: “Each painting takes me a little further into my quest for self-discovery.”

She will also be exhibiting again in August and November with other artists at the West End House Gallery in Smarden.

Her studio for this months showing is open Wednesdays to Sunday from 11-6. On Tuesdays she is not present. Other times by appointment.
