    The Old Dairy Studios in Oxted is offering our workshop free of charge to artists who would like to teach (adults) any of the following: drawing, watercolour, sewing, crochet, knitting, hand thrown pottery and photography.

    TONBRIDGE ARTS FESTIVAL (TAF) - OPEN ART EXHIBITION
    18th-21st JUNE 2012


    Open Art Exhibition open to all 2D artists who live, work or study in the borough of Tonbridge and Malling.

    Artists are invited to submit up to 2 pieces of work between 10:00 am – 12.00noon on Sunday 17th June for selection.

    SUBMISSION CHARGE PER PIECE SUBMITTED: one £3.00, two £5.00

    MEDIUM: 2D hanging works only – any medium except photography for which there is a separate exhibition.

    SUBMISSION DATE: Sunday 17th June 2012. Submission 10:00am – 12.00pm
    Selection 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
    Artists to collect unselected work 4:00pm – 6:00pm.
    The selection panel comprises sculptor Guy Portelli, artist Caroline Parr and one other local artist TBC.

    LOCATION: Tonbridge Castle, Council Chambers

    and hard copies are also available at Tonbridge Castle Gateway and Tonbridge Library.

    PRIVATE VIEW: Sunday 17th June at 7:00pm.

    EXHIBITION OPENING HOURS: 18th – 21st June 10:00am – 5:00pm at Tonbridge Castle's Council Chambers.

    COLLECTING UNSOLD WORKS: 21st June 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

    BEST OF EXHIBITION: There will be a further exhibition combining the 'Best of' the Open Art and Photography Exhibitions on Sunday, 24th June. If your piece is chosen to be exhibited we will contact you/the buyer to discuss collection.

    Photography Exhibition - Open for submissions

    Venue: River Centre, Tonbridge
    Mon 18th to Sat 23rd June 2012: 10.00am - 4.00pm

    This is a photography exhibition featuring both professional and amateur local artists and is one fo the many events being organised for the Tonbridge Arts Festival (TAF) taking place from 15-27 June 201.

    TAF are now taking photography or digital art submissions from anyone who lives, works or studies in the Borough of Tonbridge and Malling. You may also submit work that was created in or inspired by Tonbridge.

    Submit no more than two images before 1st June for consideration to: photography@tonbridgeartsfestival.co.uk

    Selected artists will be contacted and arrangements will be made to display the works. Max size for prints will be 12" x 16".

    Featured Artists: Work will also be shown by local photographers, Tony Rogers, Steve Thompson and Carl Lewis.

    Withyham Art Group Annual Exhibition of Paintings

    The Withyham Art Group which meets every Wednesday morning from 9.30am to 12.30pm at The Kings Hall in Withyham, TN74BD, (Its halfway between Groombridge and Hartfield on the B2110) will be holding their annual Exhibition of Paintings on 5th and 6th Of May 2012 at Kings Hall.

    Framed and unframed paintings and cards will be on sale. Refreshments available. This year two of the group have opted to take part in SEOS and will exhibit in their own studios in June.     Artist & Makers Selling Exhibition

    Call for 2D & 3D work and Artist books on the theme of The Four Seasons to celebrate the 2nd year of BTCV Kent Heritage Trees Project

    Exhibition to be held during a one day festival event on Saturday 13th October 2012, Ashford, celebrating BTCV's Kent Heritage Trees project.

    The site:
    The Singleton Environment Centre is an award winning sustainable building 3 miles from Ashford, the principle exhibition space will be within the building itself, however there is the opportunity for outdoor sculpture within it's immediate grounds.     All submissions to include:
    short artist statement (one paragraph)
    jpeg image (small files only please if emailing)
    details of the work: title, medium, size, price (inc commission fee)
    contact details: name, address, phone and email

    Commission fee: works sold will be subject to 40% commission fee. Work not for sale would be equally considered.

    Delivery: Work to be delivered to BTCV, on Friday 12th October between 3 - 4:30 pm and collected on Saturday 13th October between 3:30 – 4:15pm

    Deadline for submissions 31 August 2012

    Submissions should be copies and no original work as submissions cannot be returned.
