Biography
Catherine studied graphics and illustration at Hornsey College of Art. She taught for 37 years and won an award from the Good Schools Guide for an A level graphics course. Alongside teaching she continued to illustrate. She received commissions from a range of sources including Fujiseal Europe, Lord and Lady Middleton and Barclays publishing house. Catherine has always been concerned with conservation and has produced illustrations for Loose Amenities Association and as fund raising for the local church. She has lived in the Loose valley for 39 years. Much of her work has been a response to and a celebration of this beautiful area and to the lives lived here.
