Biography
Rooted in my background as an architectural designer, my paintings are shaped by a deep appreciation for composition, form, and light — yet it is the freedom of painting that truly draws me in. Where architecture is precise, painting allows me to move intuitively, guided by feeling rather than function.
I work primarily in acrylics, painting still life scenes, domestic vignettes, and snapshots of time. Many of my recent works were created on quiet winter evenings, a personal ritual of imagining warmth, colour, and longer, brighter spring days. Flowers in jugs, familiar corners of a room, or a single moment remembered — these are the gentle, joyful subjects I return to.
At the heart of my work is a desire to celebrate small, beautiful things: the comfort of home, the poetry of the everyday, and the subtle narratives held in light, colour, and shadow.
