Hildegard creates stunning colour-changing artworks and jewellery.

The changing nature of dichroic glass is the inspiration for Hildegard’s unique ranges of glass jewellery. The colours of the glass change with movement and light playing on the
surface of the glass, adding additional intrigue to these eye-catching pendant necklaces and earrings. All jewellery is handmade using coloured dichroic glass and sterling silver chains and findings, and has a very soft yet sophisticated look.

Hildegard’s work in glass explores it’s inherent qualities of transparency, translucency and opacity, alongside colour and shape, reflections and shadows. Her wall sculptures create multilayered spaces brought to life by their interaction with light and invite the viewer to look closer to understand where the colour is coming from.

She is inspired by the play of light and shadows, as seen in nature, urban environments,
interior spaces as well as textiles. Her background as an interior architect and a love of
geometry and pattern inform her work. Equally influential are chance observations of light falling through trees or shadows moving across a space.
