Kate Schuricht – Ceramic Imprinting & Slipcasting with Kate Schuricht

Explore the exciting properties of clay by imprinting and impressing found objects, leaves, textiles and letters to create a striking range of coasters, tiles and hanging decorations. Finish off by incorporating your favourite design or motif into a handmade slipcast ceramic piece using an original technique developed by Kate. Students will make around 6 to 8 pieces which will be fired and returned to The Old Dairy for collection. A separate glazing session is optional.
Feel free to bring your own special materials for imprinting or use the wide range of materials supplied.
Please allow 2 to 3 weeks minimum for return of fired work.
