Biography
Caroline Clough graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. She has exhibited and sold through a number of galleries in Kent and London, including the Medici Gallery and Liberty’s, and produced bespoke artwork and designs for a number of clients, including Leeds Castle, Kent.
After many years of tutoring painting and drawing classes for Kent Adult Education, Caroline now runs regular termly painting and drawing classes privately. These currently take place in Headcorn, Tenterden,Chart Sutton, Aylesford and Allington. Carolines work is motivated and driven by the compulsion of close observation through direct drawing and exploration in paint, inspired by the transitory effects of light on a range of subject, including aspects of landscape encountered on walks and still life.
Commissions have included a large panel painted in acrylic for Goldsmid Hall, Tudely.
