Biography

My practice centers on the alchemy of materials—primarily glass and resin—to create sculptural forms that blur the boundaries between function, history, and abstraction. Drawing inspiration from natural textures, historical artifacts, and the overlooked poetry of everyday objects, I aim to create works that are both visually striking and conceptually layered.

Through processes of casting, carving, and surface manipulation, I explore themes of transformation, resilience, and the passage of time. My pieces often reference utilitarian forms—bowls, helmets, vessels—reimagined with vibrant color and tactile surfaces that invite close inspection. I am fascinated by the tension between strength and fragility, transparency and opacity, and the ways in which light animates and reveals the inner life of each object.

Ultimately, my work is an invitation to pause, to look more closely, and to find meaning in the interplay of material, memory, and imagination.
