SEOS 2026 Registration – Now Closed

Join South East Open Studios (5-21 June 2026) to take part in our 30th Anniversary event.

SEOS takes place across Kent, East Sussex and the Surrey Borders, from East Grinstead to Folkestone, Rochester to Hastings … and everywhere in between!

Please note that 2025 artist pages will remain live until 2026 sign up is complete.
We anticipate the 2026 artist page to go live in March.

Create an account and pay for membership

Please follow the steps outlined below:

Step One: Sign in or create a new account

Step Two: Purchase your membership type – Individual or Group

Step Three: Fill in your studio entry information

Step Four: Upload your online gallery information

Step One:

Sign in (if you are a 2025 members) or Create a new account

Note: 
We started using a new sign in system in 2025.

If you are NOT a 2025 SEOS member, you need to sign up with a new account. 
This is free and does not require any payment at this stage.

You will receive a confirmation email before you can create your membership and an entry. This will be an automated email, please check your junk box before contacting us if you think you may not have received it.

Studio Space Share:
Once signed in, you can use our new Studio Space Share board to look for a studio to share or to offer a venue to other artists. This is FREE and will allow you to post your studio space offer or request on our new share page. 
You can add up to two images of your work as well as your location and details of what you’re looking for or what kind of space you are offering, be that hanging, table or outdoor space to display work.

Note:
Once you have decided to take part in the open studio event you need to proceed to
Step Two to make payment when buying your membership. 

Each artist signing up for SEOS 2026 needs to pay for their membership, priced at £125 per member, regardless whether you are choosing to show as an individual artist or be part of a group as group leader or group member.


IMPORTANT:
Please note that all artists showing in a group venue need to be signed up and have paid to be SEOS members for 2026.

Step Two: Buy Membership

After signing in you can purchase your membership. You do this from your Dashboard.

There are two main options, depending on whether you will be showing by yourself, or will be part of a group. This year we are defining groups as two or more artists sharing a venue. All options are priced at £125.

1 – Individual MembershipIf you are the only person showing in your studio, then purchase your membership as an individual member.

2 – Group LeaderYou represent your group of 2 or more artists. As group leader you will manage the group venue details and opening times, but will only pay for your own entry.


3 – Group MemberYou are a member of a group of 2 or more artists at the studio. Price is per artist in the group.

Step Three: Fill in your Studio Entry information

Once you’ve purchased your membership


Steps to take for each membership type:

As an individual member:

  • Buy Individual membership
  • Enter your studio entry details

As group leader:

  • Buy group leader membership   
  • Set up the studio entry page
  • Enter your own studio entry details

As group member: 

  • Buy Group membership
  • Find the group venue and add your name whilst filling in your own studio entry details

What you need to prepare to complete your studio page and printed guide information

For Individuals and Group Leaders you will need the following:
Members belonging to a group will have some of your information completed by your group leader.

  • 1 image to represent your work (Minimum 1MB jpg or 1200x1200px). To maximise the size of your image in the guide consider submitting the image in a 4:3 landscape format
  • Media you use in your practice
  • Artist Statement – Max 200 characters
  • Opening Dates and Times
  • Your Venue guide region – see map on the form
  • Your Venue council region
  • Your Venue address and contact details
  • Your Venue What3words location. Select the correct square on the What3words map and copy the link
  • Social Media account links
  • Price range of your works (if selling)

Your printed guide entry:
Your studio entry will give you a quarter page listing in the guide and a page on the website.
Everyone, whether in a group or showing individually, will be given a quarter page entry in the guide.

Step Four: Upload your Online Gallery information

You NEED to create your gallery to show your artist portfolio and statement on the website. You are able to edit and update this section at any time during your SEOS membership.

2026 Galleries will be visible to the public in March 2026.

  • Add Extended Artist Statement/Biography
  • Add Video link (optional)
  • Add workshops (optional)
  • Add events (optional)

You can upload images and info to your gallery at any time.

We recommend you add at least three or four images of your work as well as any contact details, a link to your website and social media (if you have those) before the end of March. This is your own portfolio page, which is separate from your studio entry page.

I understand that I must NOT have any non-paying artists exhibiting in my studio space. Non-compliance with this rule will mean I cannot take part in future SEOS events.
I understand that in the event of cancellation, SEOS will refund as much of the fee as possible but that there is a chance this might not be 100%.
