Biography

Andy is a local silversmith working in Tonbridge who specialises in large semi-precious stones in rings. He works predominantly in 925 sterling silver and 955 Britannic silver.

With Andy’s work the stones always come first. Amongst his work this year you can see some beautiful Plume Agate, and Azurite stones. Andy is always on the lookout for unusual stones that look striking in rings. Andy has always been a champion of Fordite and Surfite which is made from the paint run off from spraying cars and spraying surf boards. This is the ultimate in recyclable jewellery and stunningly beautiful in its design.

Andy’s work carries the London Assay office Hallmark and has items with the Queen’s Jubilee Hallmark and the King’s Coronation Hallmark.

Andy works closely with his fellow jeweller Robert Ketch who has helped him to design several high end rings using C.A.D. This process results in beautiful rings that profile the stones and result in uniquely beautiful concept jewellery.

Andy also makes Necklaces from semi-precious stones.
