Marigold Plunkett

Biography
Marigold is a painter and printmaker based in Kent. She holds an MA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts (UAL) and a BA in Social Anthropology. She has received several awards, most notably the Ingram Graduate Prize in 2020. She was shortlisted for the 2025 Jackson’s Art Prize. In 2023-24 she took part in the Turps Banana Painting Programme thanks to a DYCP Arts Council Grant.
Recent exhibitions include a four-woman exhibition in Fitzrovia and the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea. Previous exhibitions also include the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair and the ING Discerning Eye in London. Alongside her own practice, Marigold works in a printmaking workshop in South London, where she works as a technician, and editions original prints for other professional artists. She teaches printmaking from her studio and at Rye Creative Centre in East Sussex, supporting artists and learners to develop and refine their printmaking practice.
