Biography

Ray has a background in Art and 3-Dimensional Design, with a focus on Commercial Interior Design. He began working with glass in 2005 and was awarded MA (with distinction) in Glass in 2012, from the Welsh School of Architectural Glass in Swansea.

Ray works from his studio near Tonbridge, Kent, mainly using sheet glass, frit and powders. He enjoys experimenting with different techniques including sandblasting, screen printing, airbrushing, and various warm glass processes. Ray makes decorative glass panels for windows and produces glass items and artwork to commission. He also runs bespoke workshops.
