I will be showing a new work entitled “One Too Many Mornings (3)”, in the forthcoming exhibition; The London Group Annual 2026, “This, That and the Other, at The Handbag Factory, 3 Loughborough Street, London SE11 5RB (Exhibition runs from 4 – 30 May).
Biography
Born 1946, Sandbach, Cheshire.
Sandbach School, 1955 – 1965.
Birmingham College of Art, Foundation, 1965 – 1966.
Bath Academy of Art, 1966 – 1969. Diploma in Art and Design, Sculpture.
Since the mid 1970’s I have taught at various art institutions in the UK and at Camberwell College of Art from 1989 – 2009.
Throughout my academic career I have continued my practice as an artist. I was elected to the London Group in 2000 and continue to exhibit both nationally and internationally (See CV on my website: https://www.billwatsonsculptor.com/background)
In 2017 Angela Eames designed and we jointly project managed the building of a purpose built studio/gallery.
