Biography
Fine art landscape & nature photography,
inspired by soft light, open space, and unhurried moments of quiet.
Jane Mucklow is a Kent-based landscape and nature photographer inspired by the details and patterns of the natural world – light and colour, reflections on water, the stillness of misty mornings, and the changing seasons. Alongside her prints, cards, puzzles and calendars, she offers photo walks, photography guides, and 1:1 lessons, to help others enjoy and develop their own photography.
I love going for a wander with my camera, enjoying the solitude, and noticing and capturing the beauty around me. Especially details and patterns, light and colour: ripples and reflections in water, the stillness of misty mornings, the changing of the seasons. From coast and countryside to woods and wildflowers, I create images that invite you to pause, breathe, and feel uplifted. These are photographs made to be lived with, offering moments of calm, space, and a restorative connection with nature.
Alongside my own work, I’ve more recently discovered I also really enjoy supporting others with their photography journey. Through accessible courses, workbooks and guided photo walks, I encourage a relaxed, confidence-building approach whether you learn 1:1 or as a group or online.
