Biography
Jayne Coulson’s work reflects the beauty of imperfection and the artistry of traditional techniques. She creates classic jewellery pieces using sterling silver and 9ct gold, often using stones that bear natural flaws; celebrating their uniqueness and beauty.
Inspired by metalworking practices of ancient civilisations, Jayne embraces simplicity in her process, employing basic tools that allow the intrinsic qualities of the metal to dictate the aesthetic of a piece.
From her Tunbridge Wells studio, Jayne’s pieces are not just adornments; they are handcrafted small treasures, celebrating traditional and the unique journey of creation
