Biography
Working across acrylic, watercolour, pen and ink and sometimes digital media to enhance some work. Lynn is an artist whose vibrant, expressive style reflects over fifteen years of dedicated creative practice. Her work is characterised by confident use of colour and an openness to a wide variety of subjects, allowing each piece to explore mood, movement and emotional tone in a distinctive way. Primarily self-taught with the help of an encouraging teacher. Lynn approaches painting as both a creative exploration and a restorative practice. She describes the process as fun, relaxing, therapeutic and inspiring, qualities that are often felt in the finished work. Whether working in the layered richness of acrylic, the fluid spontaneity of watercolour, the precision of ink or the versatility of digital enhancement. Lynn has exhibited locally in support of charitable causes, sharing her work within the community and contributing to meaningful initiatives through art. Her practice continues to evolve, guided by curiosity and an inspiring tutor.
