Valeriia Kostina – Pattern Cutting: Bodice & Sleeve Foundations

During this workshop, you will create a basic bodice block and sleeve block, learn how they fit together and see how a few simple pattern changes can create completely different styles of tops. You’ll learn how darts shape a garment, how they can be moved around the pattern, and how one simple block can become many different top designs. By the end of the workshop, you’ll also turn your bodice and sleeve blocks into a raglan-style top pattern using a few simple pattern changes.
This workshop is all about understanding pattern cutting in a simple, approachable way.
