Richard Heys – Dive into Colour

Join me in my studio in Forest Row, East Sussex for an introduction to abstract painting & colour. I’ll demonstrate some contemporary painting techniques followed by a chance for you to try out painting with acrylics and a silicon tool. The emphasis will be on play and exploration and the joy of colour.
Richard’s painting courses are run at his studio at Emerson College, Forest Row, Sussex, RH185JX.
He is a practicing professional artist and an experienced adult educator. He is passionate about painting, drawing, nature observation & art history. His courses are known for their creative and social nature.

10.00 – 11.30 Introduction to the day, painting demo & painting session
11.30 – 11.40 Tea/Coffee break
11.40 – 13.00 Painting session
13.00 – 14.00 Lunch break (please bring a packed lunch)
14.00 – 15.00 Painting session
15.00 – 15.10 Tea/Coffee break
