We are looking for Area Co-ordinators (ACOs) for two of our districts:
- Ashford
- Tunbridge Wells
Area coordinators are key to supporting our members in the run-up and during the event.
As an area coordinator (ACO) you receive free entry to the Open Studios event. It is also a great opportunity to build networks with other artists and help to create an art following/experience in your area.
Your main responsibilities would involve
- Supporting and coordinating all participating artists in your area at sign up, event preparation and during the event
- Organising/hosting an area networking meeting at which artists can meet one another, hear each other’s plans, discuss how everyone can contribute to publicising SEOS locally
- Helping with distribution of open studio guides and signage
- Helping with local publicity or taster events where applicable
- There are regular zoom meetings where all ACOs can exchange tips, and highlight anything they need help with. Hildegard, the Area Coordinating Officer is available for any help or clarification, guidance and advice in the run up and during the event.
